* You'll need to bring an Epic and/or Steam account that owns the games you want to play. The Big LAN does not currently provide keyboards, mice, or any additional peripherals (mousepad, headphones).
Each PC has Steam, Epic, Riot, and Discord clients pre-installed. Just log in and pull your games of choice from our super fast cache and file server. All games supported at the event are tested to run at (at least) 60FPS, 1080p on their automatic settings (generally medium). All machines will be reimaged after the event to remove any personal data. Depicted hardware are an example only, provided equipment may have a different appearence while meeting the same specifications.

Bring Your Own PC Ticket

A Bring Your Own PC (BYO PC) ticket lets you access everything The Big LAN has to offer. Your ticket includes a seat at one of our rows of tables, an ethernet (network) cable that is already linked into our network (Wi-Fi is also available), two power points (one for your PC and one for your monitor), and a 3'x3' space to set up all your equipment in. You can connect any device you'd like including a laptop, desktop, Xbox, PlayStation, ROG Ally, Steam Deck, or Nintendo Switch, however a Windows based PC is recommended to get the most out of the day.

BYO PCs

A BYO PC 5+ group ticket is also available and is exactly the same as a BYO PC ticket but with a discount for bringing so many friends! Please note that this ticket type is not able to be combined with any AFK tickets or Rental PCs, but if you contact us via Messenger or Discord we can help customise you the best deal for your needs.

Away From Keyboard Ticket

An Away From Keyboard (AFK) ticket lets you access everything except for the major tournaments being run on our network, e.g. you'll be able to play split-screen games like Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart but not games that require access to the network like Rocket League (even though they may run on a portable device). An AFK ticket is best for players who want to play Nintendo tournaments, Chess, and VR games, and who don't want to bring their own PCs or devices.

Blood on the Clocktower

During a hellish thunderstorm, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limp from the clocktower. As blood drips onto the cobblestones below, a realisation slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed, killing by night and taking on human form by day.
Can good find the demon in time? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful town?

Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception for five-to-twenty courageous players and one devious storyteller. A social game played in person, seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the mystery whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other, and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection, and wipe out the village.

Join us for games of Blood on the Clocktower with our expert storytellers. Entry with any ticket

Prizes

Counter Strike 2

Wingman

Grab your partner in arms and get ready for 2v2 Counter Strike. Single elimination brackets of default competitive Wingman settings, best of 16 rounds with overtime.
The Big LAN aims to maintain competitive rules while making this tournament accessable to new players. As such the map will default to Inferno for each game. Teams can discuss alternate maps they'd rather use per match and on agreement The Big LAN staff will configure the server accordingly.

Servers will be listed on the LAN with names matching the pairings (e.g. Team #1 vs Team #2).

1. Download VALORANT.exe and VALORANT.zip from the Valorant folder.
2. Export the contents of VALORANT.zip to C:\Riot\VALORANT (or your install location of choice).
3. If you don't have the RIOT client installed, run VALORANT.exe. Otherwise simply launch the RIOT client. Sign in and select Valorant from the list of games.
4. When you get to this screen, select already installed and then navigate to the "live" folder within the folders you just exported from the zip file.
5. The RIOT cliet will appear to attempt to download for a moment, and then declare Valorant ready to run!
